Total of 128 hours (64 hours minimum for Skills Set + 64 hours of the Health Care Core Course

HCCC with the NA Skills Set

Course Syllabus:

This course provides the basic nursing care skills and concepts necessary to prepare students to take the Minnesota approved competency test for nursing assistants that is necessary to be a Nursing Assistant/Registered (NA/R) with the State of Minnesota. Those who attain the NA/R credential can work as a Nursing Assistant in a Nursing Home, Certified Boarding Care Home, or Hospital Swing Beds under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
