Minnesota Department of Education Approval

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) approves high school Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) programs for Minnesota School Districts. Obtaining MDE approval provides:

  • Districts access to funding to run the program.
  • Students opportunities to pursue a career in healthcare in high school.
  • High Schools exceptional educational opportunities for their students.
  • Employers access to potential and future employees.

Be sure to notify the MDE as early as possible for forms and guidelines. You can access MDE’s Program approval on their website.
